A Little About Me…

My name is Caitlin Murphy and I’m an Irish maker. I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2022. Being a third generation silversmith I have always had a passion for challenging boundaries through making, creating and designing. 

I am delighted to announce that I have been awarded one of ten Graduate Bursary stands at Goldsmiths’ Fair 2023. Alongside of this I am one of two makers to have been awarded a Graduate Bursary stand at Element’s Fair 2023.

I was recently awarded a Bronze and Silver award at the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Competition 2023 for my ‘Illusion Cube’. This piece was exhibited and sold as part of The Goldsmiths’ Centre’s ‘Shine 2022’.
